In many cases the wrapping of a gift is just as important as the present itself. Although the main function is to conceal what's hidden inside to cause surprise, sometimes just a little touch is enough.
This time I decided to rather give it a nice appearance than wrap it as much as I can. The present is a nice vintage styled clutch, but since it also contains the rest of the gift, I wasn't keen on hiding it.
Therefore I used a tissue paper to wrap it around just in the middle. The piece I cut is around 10-15cm wide, and its one side is decorated with wavy scissors.✂
The next step was to find a ribbon which I placed along the paper, but more to the straight edged side. The colour is the same but the lighter blue ribbon nicely stands out on the paper.
As a final touch I glued a paper flower on the ribbon, which was in harmony with the colour of the clutch and also helps the ribbon to stay in place. I made sure that all other taping are on the bottom of the gift. And there you have it, a stylish and lovely way of presenting your surprise!
Moo:)
